How this calculator works
Tip = bill × tip percent ÷ 100
Each person pays = (bill + tip) ÷ number of people
Quick mental math: 10% is the bill with the decimal moved one place left. Double it for 20%. For 15%, add half of the 10% amount.
Example
A $64 bill with a 20% tip is $12.80, for a total of $76.80. Split three ways, each person pays $25.60.
